ASC1 are busy farmers
17th May 2024
Our topic "Spring on the Farm" has given us lots of opportunities to get involved in farming jobs.
We have been preparing the soil to planting seeds and vegetables.
We have watched cress seeds, sunflower seeds and white beans germinate; growing roots and sprouts.
We have learned the important things a plant will need to survive and thrive- soil, water, sunlight and carbon dioxide.
Some of our seeds haven't sprouted an we have discussed why, some didn't have enough soil, some were out of the sun and some had dried out.
We can't wait until our plants are ready to take home and be planted in our own gardens.
