Easter Fun!
This week the Nurture Nest pupils had great fun outside solving clues to find Easter Eggs.
The wonderful 'Ks1 social group, for cooking', loved their last session by making tasty milk chocolate nests with small eggs inside.
Meanwhile the fantastic 'Ks2 social group, for cooking' enjoyed making a display together to reflect the message in 'The Colour Monster' story. This story supported the children's understanding about feelings, associating them with colours. It reads as a simple story but our pupils were able to identify, recognise and explore their emotions, building skills to show empathy to others.
This week we visited the town library. We listened to an interesting story about seasons and examined the colourful scarecrow puppet. The rhythm and rhyme activities were fun. Thank you to the brilliant staff who made us feel very welcome.
