Fun Outdoor Play in Nursery!
6th May 2024
When the sunshine appears we are able to extend our learning to the outside yard and garden. The children thoroughly enjoy their outdoor play when the good weather appears! The children spotted a bee so we looked at some non-fiction books about insects and painted some bees at the art table. Our favourite story this week was Billy's bucket. To further develop the children's language around this story we had fish, seaweed and buckets in the water tray. Some of the children enjoyed tracing around the shadows of toy dinosaurs outside with chalk. We have had lots of busy chefs in the garden's muddy kitchen. Have a look at the lovely flower treats!
