Dear P7 Parent/ Guardian,
Your child is due to transfer to Post-Primary School in September and the online application process opens from Tuesday 30th January to 12 noon on 22nd February. I would recommend that parents view the information at https://www.eani.org.uk/parents/admissions/post-primary-admissions-guide
At this stage the Primary 7 pupils have had the opportunity to listen to teachers and pupils from the various secondary schools and to discuss any concerns or queries they might have. Indeed, most of the children appear to have decided which secondary school they wish to attend in September 2024.
Parents are responsible for completing the online application form, however we are more than willing to provide assistance. You are invited to attend a
P7 Transfer Meeting on Monday 29th January 2024 at 6.00pm in the KS2 Gym to discuss your child’s transfer to Post Primary school.
At this meeting we will explain your role in the process and the Admission Criteria for the Post- Primary Schools in the area.
There will also be an opportunity for parents should they wish to book an appointment with school staff who will assist with completing the online form and uploading the necessary documents. Appointments will be available from Wednesday 31st January and interpreters will be available on request.
Parents of children who sat the SEAGs Entrance test will be able to log in to SEAG website and receive their results on Saturday 27th January.
