Learning some new Gaelic skills with P4.
25th Apr 2024
This term we have joined with Mr McBride's P4 class to learn some fun warm up games and skills needed to play Gaelic football.
Our favourite warm-up is "toilet tag" and chasing each other and freeing each other helps us get our heart rate up but also reminds us how important it is to use our "looking eyes" when moving at speed.
We've have been practicing the skill of hand passes, we need to have the ball balanced on our hand, the other arm swinging back and hitting the ball with the middle of our hand to pass to our team mates.
