We were delighted to officially open The Nurture Nest this week in St. Patrick's PS. Mr Kevin Devlin, the previous principal was in attendance along with Chair Cora Corey from the Mid-Ulster Council, representatives from the Nurture Advisory Service and school staff.
Mr Devlin set in motion the chain of events which led to the development of this brilliant educational environment which is wrapped up in the ethos of care and support. Mr Sean Irving and Mrs Ali Dawson from the Nurture Advisory Service have been an invaluable source of support and advice as the Nurture Nest has become a reality in St. Patrick’s.
School Nurture staff, Mrs Anne Spence and Mrs Nuala Goodfellow provide such a warm and welcoming environment for the children, who benefit from their knowledge & expertise.
