Primary 4 children enjoyed their trip to Oxford Island as part of their Minibeast topic. The children explored the forest searching for minibeasts in different habitats. They enjoyed learning about different types of birds, and they used their binoculars to spot different birds in Lough Neagh. The children had great fun pond dipping and they found lots of different freshwater invertebrates.
