Dear P6 parent/ guardian
Thank you to those parents who attended our Primary 6 meeting before Easter.
As discussed at the meeting, we are starting to work with children who wish to take the transfer test in November. The classes will be held after school on Monday & Wednesday and will finish at 4.30pm.
The test should only be taken by children who are hoping to apply for a place in St. Patrick’s Academy, St. Joseph’s Donaghmore or the Royal School Dungannon. The work for the test is at a difficult level.
Children who hope to attend St. Patrick’s College do not need to take the test.
Classes for the Transfer Test will start on Monday 15th April and children should be collected at 4.30pm or have permission to walk home.
Your child should inform their teacher tomorrow if they are staying after school on Mondays and Wednesdays for classes and a permission slip will then be sent home.
If you are not sure if your child should stay for the classes, please contact the school office and a member of staff will help you.
Registration for the test will open on Monday 20th May on www.seagni.co.uk and costs £20. Registration is the responsibility of the child’s parent or guardian.
A one-off payment of £10 will be required to cover resources.
