As part of our ongoing commitment to the Personal Development of our Primary 7 pupils, we are delighted that Love for Life will be visiting St. Patrick’s Primary School on Tuesday 6th June.
The fun and interactive ‘What’s Inside’ programme aims to equip the Primary 7 pupils to make healthy choices and is a vital part of their learning before their transition into secondary school.
During the workshop relevant topics are covered such as development of baby from conception, changes that take place during growing up including a separate boys and girls puberty talk, positive qualities in friendships, bullying and how to make good decisions.
The main focus of the programme is to affirm the uniqueness of the individual and to encourage respect for themselves and others.

Primary 7 children will celebrate Confirmation on Saturday 27th May. The parish have asked the school to pass on the following message.
In order to keep the attendance at these ceremonies to a reasonable number - we strongly suggest that just the immediate family of the child celebrating Confirmation attends the ceremony. This is limited to the mother, father, sponsor and any siblings only. Each child will have a full church pew and there will be no other room in the chapel.
The parish office has also asked the school to notify parents that horses and carriages and limousines are not permitted in the grounds of the church for Confirmation ceremonies
We will also celebrate a Leaver’s Mass for Primary 7 children and parents on Friday 9th June at 2pm in St. Patrick’s Church.
Children in Primary 7 will finish school on Friday 23rd June.
