The school council met again on Friday 24th February. We used our suggestion boxes, from each class, to highlight topics of discusssion for the day. The councillors talked about 'Smokebusters' which was an online Zoom lesson that the P6 and P7 classes were involved in. The children thought that having a poster competition to promote healthy snack times would be very beneficial. P4 and P5 children readily agreed. The councillors also agreed that the prizes should not include chocolate or sweets. P7 representatives will discuss this with the principal. We also had a discussion about recycling and possibly using different bins. The school council have started to discuss Easter activities so if you have any ideas you can pop it into your suggestion box or discuss it with your class councillor.
