This week the focus in the Nurture Nest was about showing self-care and being kind to everyone. The pupils were 'kindness detectives'. They engaged in lots of listening activities, being a good helper and expressing gratitude for small acts that have big impact. They completed a kindness board game, acted out lots of social stories and complimented each other on their strengths and good qualities. The pupils were able to focus better when engaging with their peers and it seemed that kindness is the key ingredient to help others feel good.
