This week everyone worked together as a team communicating clearly to ask for help, to problem solve and use visual timetables to guide work. They followed work done in the base classes using skills to guide practical activities. All pupils enjoyed making a display to help them pray to Our Lady during the month of May.
Everyone actively participated in nurture in 5 lessons, theraplay, freshmind lessons, tapping sessions and using breathing techniques to help keep focused and relaxed.
It was lovely to see some of our past Nurture Group pupils visit for a chat to catch up on how they are feeling about school and remind them of all the skills they had learned in Nurture to help their wellbeing. Before the art session they enjoyed some relaxing time with juice and a selection of buns and biscuits. We will enjoy seeing you back in the Nurture Nest before the Summer holidays.
