The week started with child protection activities so that our new pupils in the Nurture Nest were made aware of the 'safe adults' if help is needed. The pupils all enjoyed Theraplay and Nurture in 5 lessons focusing on sensory activities. Everyone was assigned jobs in the Nurture room.
Our primary seven buddies read to us and helped us with I.C.T. tasks. We enjoyed making fact files on penguins and writing character profile after drama work. Everyone enjoyed counting during games and dance activities.
The P4 and P5 social groups enjoyed making shortcake 'feelings' biscuits and 'Heart in a Bottle' collage work.
